I have a feeling that IW has lost a lot of their fans and supporters, at least they should have. PC is far from a console, and that is why we choose to game on the PC. Game Producers should keep in mind that PC and Console games need to be diverse.
basically right now pc gamers are in a major need of something new. EA just so happened to be releasing this game at the perfect time since mw2 and IW was a major fail pc gamers are still looking for something new ea will give it to us =) DICE and EA have always listened to their community big time. thats why bf2 was patched so you can make mods for it because thats what the community wanted. [
I think DICE will never give up on pc communitys because the battlefield series has always been for pc sence bf1942 intell bf2 came along xbox needed something so the made bf modern combat whitch was way diffrent then bf2 this game will for sure change the out look on mw2 fans.
Honestly i dont see why anyone would put any more effort into making a game for PC as opposed to just making them for consoles. There are virtually no pc gamers compared to the amount of console gamers and if it required me to go out of my way to make a game for pc then i probably wouldnt make it. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if the next cod wasnt available for pc.
actually your looking at it wrong..pc gamers will never die because if you look at the ps3 and xbox 360 all they are is computers. thats it. consoles and computers are gonna come together and make one gaming pc that will have its own OS hardware and everything else..it will run and act like a pc allowing you to surf the internet listen to music watch videos download stuff but it will be the size of a console and use a console control with the option for keyboard and mouse..this is where gaming is heading to. Agreed, long term people are gonna game/compute at home on their "computers", which will basically be a big screen with all the hardware inside and some sort of interface device obviously. Having a separate device as a console just won't make sense in a few years, it will all be integrated into the computer's OS so you can do everything from one machine.
Which is exactly why PC gaming will never disappear, infact consoles will evolve into a form of a PC and DICE realizes that. Exactly, consoles will evolve to be like a pc. You can already download and buy things from a console, they just made a console to get more money. Consoles and pc will be one in the next 10 years. So idk why IW fucked us when they should have realized that we will not be going away.
